  • What is the difference between coaching and consulting?
    Coaching assumes that the client already knows the answer to their problem, while consulting provides expertise and solves your problem for you.
  • Are your coaching services the same as counseling or seeing a therapist?
    No. The health coaching and philosophy program do not replace counseling with counsellors, psychologist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and other. If you feel you need to reach out for your physical, mental, or emotional health, please refer to the relevant medical professional or notify me so you can get a proper referral.
  • What is coaching?
    Coaching is a means for developing a partnership between the coach and the coachee that creates a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved.
  • Is there an overlap between coaching and consulting?
    Yes, there are several intersections between the methods of coaching and consulting. I also apply this on my program, as a natural conversation is proven to be more effective than the idealize coaching or consulting methodologies of conversation. As I act as a coach, I can provide guidance (coaching) and directions (consulting) to help you work on your specific problems.
  • Who can participate in the program?
    Aside from the baseball coaching program, all of the programs I offer (i.e. health coaching, philosophy coaching, as well as strength and conditioning coaching) is available for all. The baseball coaching program is specified for aspiring athletes (or you can convince me why should I take you as a baseball client).
  • Is a health coach the same as physical trainer and nutritionist?
    No I am not a nutritionist. Ultimately, a health coach’s scope of practice is determined by state policies and regulations; credentials, education and experience; and competencies as well as skills. With that said, all individuals who engage in coaching relationships are expected to: Apply effective communication skills, such as use of open-ended questions, affirmations, reflective listening and summarizing, to help a client increase motivation and ownership to making a change Help clients develop achievable and measurable goals to monitor success and motivate ongoing behavioral change Help clients develop and exploit their strengths to support successful behavioral changes The actions that are outside the scope of practice of the coach (who does not also hold a credential or professional license in another discipline) include: Counseling, therapy and consulting Nutrition prescription and meal planning Exercise prescription Laboratory evaluation and assessment Diagnosis of medical or mental health ailments Recommendation, promotion or sale of supplementation Other practices or activities in which the coach does not have the requisite training or credentials required by professional standards or by law However, I am also a strength and conditioning coach, thus I am eligible to prescribe exercise.

    Health coaching guides you in charting your path toward wellness and helps you take a series of small, doable steps that become long-lasting, meaningful and powerful changes.

  • How does health coaching work?
    Health coaching is confidential and convenient. It happens over the phone, through email or in person. Your first coaching session: You and your coach will develop personal goals, an action plan and review your health assessment results. Additional coaching sessions: You’ll work with your coach to review your progress toward your goals, explore and resolve challenges and set your goals for the next session. There is a 3 to 6 months time limit for this program. If you and I think that no significant progress has been made, then an alternative set of measures needs to be put in place.
  • Why should I participate?
    Your health is your most important asset. Working with an experienced, certified health coach gives you resources and support to help you be your healthiest. You may also want a health coach if: You’re running low on motivation. A health coach can help you build confidence, provide support and offer inspiration. You need someone on your side. Your health coach is like a really knowledgeable friend who’s there to listen, ask good questions and keep you on track with your goals. You need help recognizing successes. A health coach can help you identify wins and celebrate your progress. You need extra support. Health coaching can enhance and support other wellness programs you participate in.

    Having a philosophy coach can bring numerous benefits to your personal and intellectual growth. Here are a few compelling reasons to consider working with a philosophy coach: Clarity and Self-Reflection: A philosophy coach provides a structured space for deep self-reflection and exploration. Through philosophical inquiry, you can gain clarity about your beliefs, values, and goals, helping you make more informed choices and live a life aligned with your authentic self. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Philosophy coaching enhances your critical thinking skills, enabling you to analyze complex issues from different angles, challenge assumptions, and develop more robust problem-solving abilities. Different from health coaching, philosophy coaching is not restricted from any time-bound limits, as the program is intended to be there for you anytime you need it. If you feel that you only need one session, then 1 is all you need, but if you feel that you need to continue exploring your possibilities, then you get to decide how many sessions you want.

    The baseball coaching program is geared for aspiring athlete and individuals, not for public who wants to start playing baseball.   • How does baseball coaching work?
    Each one-on-one session is 1.5 hours long. It includes (but not limited to): Baseball-related tools improvement (60%) Specific strength and conditioning regime (30%) Mental work (10%)

    Training with your team is find and all, but in order to excel, you need guidance that is willing to make adjustment in your baseball career. Designing a swing, pitch, and style needs an individual approach and this program is formulated for that.
  • How will baseball coaching bring lasting change?
    Designing an approach is a team effort. Working with me basically you'll be a coach for yourself, as I will guide you to be an athlete and a self-coach. How is this lasting? Knowing and being able to work on what to improve, what to let go, and what to try is the main differentiator between a common and an elite athlete, and you will bring that for the rest of your life.

    Performance Enhancement vs. General Fitness: The primary focus of a strength and conditioning coach is to enhance an individual's athletic performance. They work on improving strength, power, speed, agility, endurance, and other key physical attributes specific to the sport or activity. The training programs are designed to optimize an athlete's performance and minimize the risk of injuries. Personal training, on the other hand, often work with clients who have diverse goals such as weight loss, overall fitness improvement, or improving health markers. They focus on a broader range of exercises and training techniques that are suitable for the individual's goals and fitness level.
  • What is strength and conditioning coaching?
    Strength and conditioning coaching is a specialized approach to athletic training and performance enhancement. It involves working with athletes or individuals involved in physical activities to improve their physical fitness, strength, power, agility, endurance, and overall athletic performance.
  • Why should I participate?
    For the general public To improve your movement functionality, longevity, and overall wellness. For athlete In order for you to excel in your respective sports, you need an edge. Strength and conditioning is the foundation for you to get that edge.
  • Can I participate if I'm not an athlete?
    Totally! Living well is not exclusive for athletes.
